The next drawing & painting group session  at the South Dalziel Studios, Windmillhill Street, Motherwell  starts  Thursday 12 January 2012,from 7pm till 9pm   each 10 week set  costs £90.

If preferred  you can attend on a night to night basis for £10 per evening

A Tuesday afternoon session 1pm till 3pm  is being proposed, if interested please contact Yvonne, this will not commence until we have the requisite numbers.

These friendly informal sessions cover the basics of tone, form and colour mixing using water-based paints and are both suitable for beginners and the more advanced,we have some materials to allow for experimentation prior to buying your own arts kit. The Art Group work from still life and also from their own source materials, photos etc.

Parking is available on the street at 240, Orbiston Street, the rear of the studios, entry on the right of the building along the path into the courtyard, door on the left. The art  group meet in the upper studio  & there is the 181 Cafe on the ground floor. However, due to scheduling within the studios we occasionally work in one of the other ground floor studios
